We are governed by a Trust Board of non-executive trustees, who are accountable for the work of the trust including the oversight of our academies. The Board reports to the Members at least annually.

Profile: Occupation - Lecturer
His broad experience of school and trust management, as well as significant teaching, learning, and project management experience for the Gatsby Foundation and SSAT. As a region chair and field officer for the Association of Science Education, he also has experience working in the charitable sector at local and national level. His current role at the University of Sunderland, means he has up-to-date experience of the early career framework, the inspection regime at university and school level, and understanding of the challenges facing new teachers, their school mentors and school leadership. He also has recent experience in HR matters around recruiting, safeguarding, performance management, complaints, staff development and accountability, and well-being at school and trust level.
